SAILING 101 SEMINAR

Krewe of Muses
Location: "KIKI'S" St. Charles Ave.
MARDI GRAS 2007

TEA & KNOT PARTY
"Knot Guy", Dr. John Caruso, a marine biologist
(ichthyologist) from Tulane, was a delight.
I think he enjoyed our interest as much as we
benefited from his expertise.
When 5:00 pm rolled around, everyone
was still involved in learning the Artillery Loop,
and no one would leave.
(I think there was a group hiding in the kitchen
practicing tying bowlines behind their backs,
as Jeanne and Rorie had already shown
off their stuff in the Den.)
The goat cheese/cucumber/pecan sandwich
was a favorite, except maybe for
the homemade brownies!

It was a tea seminar,
not just a party,
as we learned so much about
the types of tea
